If you cut two 8-ft. circles of grass versus one 12-ft. circle of grass, which area is larger?

If you change speeds from driving 40 to 65 mph, or from 65 to 90 mph, both represent a 25-mph difference. Which increase results in a more significant increase in speed?

Answers: It’s simple math.  A) Do you remember the formula,  Area = π[radius]2 ?  Therefore, the 12-ft. circle has more grass.  B)  Going from 40 to 65 represents a 162.5% increase compared to traveling 65 to 90 mph, which only nets a 138.4% increase.
